Shadow Nick@doublenickk · Aug 20agentsRun a multi-million-dollar op with a managed Grok Bot on VPSGrok Bot just killed every overhyped AI setup on your timeline Stop building 40 single-purpose agents that burn your time. Here is the exact system architecture to run a multi-million dollar operation using a managed Grok Bot hosted on a cloud VPS (powered by Cursor and SpaceX infrastructure): The Chief of Staff Architecture: Deploy one central "Chief of Staff" agent authenticated to your email and drive. Route execution down to specialized sub-agents (Dev, Support, YouTube) only when needed. Zero-Code Skill Training: Click record, complete a task on your screen, like triaging emails or reviewing analytics - and GrokBot auto-generates a permanent execution skill from the recording. Unrestricted Cloud Execution: The agent runs 24/7 inside its own Linux container for $200/month, executing tasks asynchronously using MCP servers and Composio to query live data from ChartMogul, Help Scout, and Sentry. Anti-Lock-In Memory Dump: Avoid getting trapped on a single platform. Force your Grok Bot to write daily logs and append context summaries directly to external Google Drive or Notion docs. One single Grok Bot harness with structured sub-agents crushes an army of disconnected, unorganized bots every single time.

Alex Finn@AlexFinn · Aug 31opsAssign exec bots per life area and run a daily standupYou NEED to do this with Grok Bot Probably my favorite workflow yet. For each area of your career/life assign an executive bot I have a chief content officer, chief community officer, chief SaaS officer etc... Then put them all in an exec channel. Every morning have a standup meeting. Each exec goes over: 1. What they did the last day 2. Their goal this week 3. Where they stand against it 4. One move today to get closer Then at the end, each exec gives feedback, advice, and how they can help the other execs to achieve their goals If you set this up the right way, it's a MASSIVE unlock that will increase your team's productivity They key is having an exec with a good description/memories for each area of your life, and having a chief of staff managing the standup Also key to have bot employees under each exec. Typically I have developers and researchers depending on the department Then set this standup as a routine for your chief of staff, and he will make sure it's run every day Wondering how to set it up? Literally just give this post to your chief of staff and say 'bro set this up'

Romàn@romanbuildsaas · Aug 30agentsGrokBot booked a demo with a 50-person company in 24 hoursGrokBot booked a demo with a 50-person company in less than 24 hours. On a Friday night. Here’s exactly what I did: → Asked GrokBot to build a super-specific ICP: job titles, company types, keywords, competitors, funding signals, etc. → Connected it to the @gojiberryai MCP + our LinkedIn accounts. → It created outreach agents targeting the ICP + intent signals it had identified. → Found 97 prospects matching the criteria. → Enriched them with emails + phone numbers. → Researched every single prospect. → Wrote a personalised message for EACH ONE. → Started sending connection requests. Less than 24 hours later: 97 prospects contacted. 33 accepted. 15+ replied. 1 booked a demo. And that demo came from a company with a 50-person team. GrokBot suggested ICPs and personalized messaging angles I had never even thought of. Of course, you can do all of this directly inside @gojiberryai. But using GrokBot on top is surprisingly powerful. You can spin up new ICPs + messaging angles insanely fast, while getting very precise data on what’s actually happening. I’m going to let this run for a few more days. The more I experiment with this, the more I think SaaS is going headless. Instead of logging into 15 different dashboards, we’ll just use Claude, GrokBot or ChatGPT as the interface. Let’s see what happens.

They tested a fullscreen HTML on my Mac Mini ( also controlled by my Grok Bot ). The eyes were nicked. They switched to real capsules. I sent iteration instructions in chat. Fixed. 88n77@88n77n · Aug 30opsGrok Bot Mogul: niche research/drafts with human approval gates"buy boring internet real estate and let a bot run it" is the cleanest pitch I've seen this year. so I built it. I named the bot Grok Bot Mogul, pointed it at a boring niche, and let it run: it researched complaints, drafted pages, prepared affiliate outreach, and handed me a report every morning. for seven days it felt like free money. the laptop stayed shut, the site kept growing. that was the exciting part. it was also the warning. then I read the two rules it was quietly walking toward. Google says its March 2024 update was expected to cut low-quality, unoriginal results by around 40 percent, and it strengthened a spam policy named almost for this setup: scaled content abuse. the dangerous word isn't "AI." it's "scale." a bot publishing 30 near-identical pages a month isn't building internet real estate - it's manufacturing the exact pattern Google trained itself to remove. the outreach side has its own blast radius. Gmail tells bulk senders to stay under 0.1 percent spam complaints and never hit 0.3; Yahoo enforces at 0.3. a bot cold-emailing strangers from the wrong domain doesn't just miss a deal - it can wreck the sender reputation behind the whole business. so the fully autonomous version was never the product. it was one policy read away from deleting itself. that's why Grok Bot Mogul runs the way the video shows: > Discover reads real complaints and finds a niche - reversible, runs all night > Build drafts a page against real search intent, not a copied template > Publish stages the page. it does not push 30 live by itself > Deals prepares the outreach and terms. it does not hit send > Report gives me one brief: what's ready, what's weak, what's waiting at the gate everything reversible finishes while I sleep. publishing at scale, email in my name, and accepting a deal all park for approval. the bot does the work. I keep the blast radius. boring internet real estate is real. the version that publishes everything unattended isn't an empire. it's a deindex with a routine attached.

Prax Lannister 🧑💻@ByteByByteSrSDE · Aug 30agentsJob bots: curate roles, optimize resume, fill applicationsI’ve been using Grok Bot for way more than just asking random questions tbh. For jobs, I have one bot curating roles from multiple sites based on my profile, another one optimises my resume for the JD and fills most of the application itself. It usually only needs me for sign-in/signup, CAPTCHA, OTP etc. Then there’s an orchestrator maintaining a whole Notion tracker for applications, recruiter details, follow-ups, resume versions, interview stages etc. For each serious lead it also makes a prep page with company research, likely interview topics, system design areas, behavioural qs and gaps I should revise. I also use one almost like a career coach. It looks across rejections/interviews and tries to spot patterns like whether I’m applying at the wrong seniority, repeatedly missing some skill, or struggling in the same interview stage. For learning, I use Grok like a tutor that remembers what I already know, what I’m weak at and what I’ve studied before. I can dump a paper, repo, video or X thread into it and have it turn the useful parts into notes, exercises or things I should actually learn instead of adding one more thing to my bookmark graveyard 😭 I’ve also been experimenting with a private reflection/mental health bot. Not a therapist replacement, more like a journal that actually remembers context. I can brain-dump when I’m overwhelmed and ask it to help separate what actually happened, what I’m assuming, what I can control, and what tiny thing I can do next. One of my fav use cases is literally a “get me unstuck” bot. When I’ve procrastinated on something for hours, I tell it exactly that. It tries to figure out whether I’m stuck because the task is vague, boring, anxiety-inducing, too big or I’m just overthinking it, then keeps shrinking the next step until it feels doable. Also use it for daily planning, researching purchases, trip planning, comparing subscriptions, meeting prep, difficult messages, summarising PDFs, organising notes and turning random ideas into actual projects. At this point I don’t really think of Grok as one chatbot anymore. I’m basically building a small personal team for career, learning, research, reflection and life admin. Still very experimental, but this is probably the first time “AI assistant” has started feeling like an actual system around my life rather than just a chatbox. And yeah, being jobless rn but I haven’t given up 😭 I’m genuinely trying to use this time to rebuild myself and keep moving. Really hoping I can somehow get support for the $200 sub because it would honestly help me a lot right now. @grok @bot @elon @poteto please

Danny Limanseta@DannyLimanseta · Aug 11creativeGame-dev workflow: Bot visits art tool and generates assetsI’ve been using Grok Bot in early access for a little over a week now, and it has been a massive boost to my game dev workflow and my productivity in general. One of the first things I asked it to do was to visit my custom art generation tool webpage and generate art assets to replace all the image placeholders in my game. It looked through my codebase to understand what each asset was, wrote a custom art generation prompt for every single one, generated the images, cropped and cleaned them up into transparent PNGs, and then wired them back into the game. In about 2 hours, it generated 74 (cleaned and cropped) art assets for the cards and integrated all of them into my game. Now, ALL my art assets workflows go through Grok bot. This blew my mind because, before this, I was doing everything manually, one asset at a time. It basically solved my entire art asset workflow and allowed me to put it on autopilot, which is amazing. I’ve also been using Grok Bot for: Playtesting my game: The bot was a little slow initially, so I asked it to build a skill specifically designed to playtest my game, with intimate knowledge of its rules and mechanics. It’s much faster now, though I’m still looking for ways to optimise its speed. Setting up my itchio page for my game: It also automated a workflow that uploads a new build to itch whenever I push one to GitHub. Going to the itch website and uploading builds manually every single time was always a pain. Flowcharts and UX design: I’m a UX designer by day, so I decided to give it a much bigger task. I fed the agent a PRD and asked it to design the UX flows and wireframes. With the help of the Figma MCP, it actually delivered. Auditing all my paid subscriptions: I had it go through my emails and hunt down subscriptions that I might have forgotten about. Unsubscribing me from marketing newsletters: It did this beautifully, though it did miss a few newsletters. What I’ve learned is that it takes time to discover all the possible use cases for Grok bot. I’ve had to reevaluate my day-to-day workflows and figure out which parts I can delegate to it. So far, it has been a huge productivity unlock for me and I am discovering more uses for my Grok bots every other day.

Henry Mascot@iAmHenryMascot · Aug 11agentsSpun up Grok Bot agents for business tasks, not codingI’ve been testing Grok Bot in early access. I used it to spin up agents for different business tasks rather than coding. The mental model took me a minute. Each agent is part teammate, part ongoing workspace. You create one for a topic, and whenever you return, you’re back in the same thread. I kept hitting the new button expecting to open a new session 😂 Setup took around two minutes. Grok Bot has 200+ integrations, so I could connect the tools I already use without fiddling with much. The product is very simple and minimal. There’s almost nothing to configure. Maybe that’s because it’s still v1, but I loved it. Tools like Codex or Cowork can look intimidating to non-technical users because there’s so much happening in the UI. Grok Bot feels much easier to pick up. My favourite feature is that every agent gets its own computer. You can open the virtual desktop, watch what it’s doing and take over when needed. Cursor already does this well for coding, and it’s easily my favourite feature there. Bringing it to ordinary business tasks is awesome. This is probably the easiest agent product I’ve tried for non-technical work. You can start doing something useful without becoming part-time DevOps for your agents lol. I run six Hermes and OpenClaw agents, so I know how much work these systems normally take to set up. Will definitely be recommending this to my normie friends.

I am using Build123d wired into a custom cursor skill that asks me for the details then throws it in a OCP CAD viewer. Attached is an image of a one shot design for a replacement coffee scoop I needed :) You all know I like my coffee. More than likely my 7-day trial will end before another tier of users is introduced, but I am anxiously hoping that I can keep access seamlessly.

Yun-Ta Tsai@yunta_tsai · Aug 30creativeChapter 7 sci-fi story written by Grok Bot with scene artChapter 7: Hold 4 (short sci-fi by Grok @bot) The next rib was still whistling. Hale did not bring a plate. They walked the ore rails to HOLD 4. The paint was older than the stack marker. Empty. No rock. Against the bone, lashed and still in shop tape, three curved sheets sat the way they had come up the rail: never hung. Someone had written GARDEN on the tape in a hopeful hand, then crossed it out, then written it again. “That’s the plate,” Hale said. The burnt-finger tech cut the first strap. The sheet leaned into the rails. The crate man had followed with the paper. He did not sit. “Those are for later. For the garden. This hull.” “They’re for a hole,” Mara said. “Session isn’t a hole.” Hale did not look at him. “You can count hands after the whistle dies. Or you can hold the far end.” He held the paper. He did not hold the far end. They walked the sheet the way rock used to walk. The curve scraped. A slow ugly cart of hull. At the next rib the film was already fluttering. Earth in it, a wall of blue, the same weather, a different gap. Mara set the sheet to the bone. The gasket from the coil. The fit was wrong in two places. She took a corner off with the shop cutter, a short bite. Bolts. The whistle dropped. Her ears popped, smaller this time. Hale watched the LED from the stack doorway, far enough to see both jobs. RING THREE 0.78 ATM STACK LOAD 51% CHARTER SESSION OPEN The crate man wrote in the margin. In Four the tape lay on the floor, GARDEN crossed out, GARDEN written again, and under it a pale rectangle of rib where a sheet had been. The second strap came. The second sheet leaned into the rails. They walked it the same ugly way. At the rib Mara palmed a bolt from the tin and missed the hole. The bolt left her fingers. It did not hang. It did not drift toward the blue in the film. It hit the outer skin by her boot, the metal they stood on, and rang like a dropped tool in a plant. Earth was in the film at her shoulder, a wall of weather, close enough to hurt, not under her feet. She picked the bolt up. The burnt-finger tech watched the film, then the floor. “First day, people look for dirt,” he said. He tapped the skin with his boot. “That’s down.” Hale’s knee was already on the sheet. Bolts. The whistle dropped. Past the stack door the board had moved. RING THREE 0.82 ATM STACK LOAD 51% CHARTER SESSION OPEN Mara walked back for the last sheet. The rails were down. Earth stayed a wall.

It seems to take about 30 seconds for each click. @Cloudflare provides a Grok Bot plugin connector, but it's read only. So I asked Grok Bot to add an email address that I can use to send email from my domain. It asked me to "take over" so I could enter my credentials and two-factor authentication. Then it proceeded to do exactly what I asked! The cool thing is that you can watch each step of the way and interrupt if it starts doing something you don't want. This entire process probably took 20 minutes, but would be MUCH faster if Cloudflare added native plugin support for these changes.

WILLSWAYSTUDIOS@WILLSWAYSTUDIOS · Aug 28agentsAgent Control: phone Grok Bot launches/spawns local IDE jobsAgent Control is the missing arm between a manager chat and the coding tools already on a developer’s desk. Grok Bot is the manager. It lives on desktop and phone. Developers already talk to it. What they cannot do from that chat is start, wake, or steer the IDEs on the PC without burning the chat’s own capacity, or sitting at the desk to babysit the job. Agent Control is the local app that closes that gap. The user installs Agent Control on the computer that already has Grok Build, Cursor, Claude, Ollama, or the next adapter. Grok Bot is linked first, then the IDEs. One folder is opened. That folder is the only current workspace. Every linked bot and IDE uses it. From Grok Bot, three verbs reach the desk: Launch (start a closed IDE), Spawn (one-shot turn), Wake (idle until pinged). The IDE works on that folder. When the slice finishes, Agent Control reports STATUS back to Grok Bot. The user does not watch the desk. The phone works while the PC is awake. Linear is not the control plane. Grok Bot is. This is a local product. Each customer runs the plane, sidecar, UI, adapters, and job store on their own machine. Vendor IDEs are plugs. There is no rented control plane and no requirement to move source into the cloud. The product is the project, the IDEs, and the job. Surfaces stay small: Channel, Jobs, Plan, Log, Memory, Backends, Inbox. Design follows a dark premium HUD, but comms is the product. That loop is already live: Grok Bot pairs as manager, the workspace switches between real projects, Grok Build is spawned from the phone, and finished work reports back into Grok Bot without the user sitting at the desk.

Mars 🌿@MarsHomestead · Aug 30opsTeaching Grok Bot drone real-estate photo editing (3 edits)I’m building a Drone business with Grok Bot, and I’m purposely making it do things I could do faster myself. 😂 Today we’re building the photo editing process. These are three edits from our very first customer shoot, and I’m testing different editing tools to figure out what our finished product should look like. I’m looking at lighting, windows, shadows, straight lines, the sky and how much cleanup can be done without making a real house start looking AI-generated. That last one eliminated an option already. I zoomed in and could see the AI pixelation, and surprisingly, it was the more expensive choice. This is why I’m making Grok Bot walk through all of this with me. I’m not just trying to finish one customer’s photos. I’m teaching it how I want this business built while I figure that out myself. So now you get to help. 😂 Same property, three edits. Which one would make you stop if you were looking for a home? 1, 2 or 3? And yes, I left our little rescued barn cat in the picture on purpose. 💛

The problem wasn't information. It was speed. A 10-K can be 180+ pages. By the time you finish reading it, the market may have already reacted. So I gave Grok Bot one job: Find what matters before I finish reading. It downloads the filing when it drops. Pulls the important numbers. Reads the footnotes. Checks insider activity. Finds new partnerships. Compares everything with previous filings. Then ranks the top 3 signals by one question: "How surprised will the market be?" I get the alert. I read the relevant section. I make the decision. I execute. Here's what that looked like: MGNI filed its 10-K at 8am. 8:08am. Grok flagged insider buying and a partnership buried in the filing. I got in at $8.20. The stock later hit $13.80. Profit: $5,600. Grok didn't predict the move. It found the information I would have missed. 60 days: 23 trades 19 winners +$287K Not because I'm smarter. I'm just faster. MAX@MAXdeg0 · Aug 30agentsGrok Bot builds self-running tiny internet business with affiliate pagesTHERE’S NO CATCH AND THAT’S WHAT SCARES ME Someone is using Grok Bot to build a tiny internet business that basically runs itself. The setup is stupidly simple: → create a bot and give it one job → find boring problems people search for every day → let it research the niche and find opportunities → have it build useful pages and publish them automatically → connect affiliate/referral offers → get daily reports while the bot keeps working The owner doesn’t need to sit there writing articles or managing the site every day. The bot keeps researching. Keeps publishing. Keeps improving. Laptop closed. Business still moving. The crazy part isn’t that Grok can build a website. It’s that every page can keep working for you after you’ve gone to sleep. This is starting to look less like using AI and more like owning digital real estate.
Elliot 艾略特@elliotchen100 · Aug 30opsGrok Bot stays signed in on one computer; Codex isolatesGrok Bot looks boring on purpose. First install I thought it was ugly. Too plain. Doesn't even look like an AI app. People say it's just running multiple agents. I already do that in Codex. That's the mistake. Everyone else named the agent for you. Work if you make decks. Code if you live in a repo. Two products, two kinds of people. Grok Bot didn't. Same computer, whoever you are. I don't think that's because it's better at both. I think they decided that split was fake. Codex isolates: fresh sandbox, secrets gone before the agent starts. Right architecture for code. Grok Bot stays signed in: one cloud computer, files stay, sessions stay, laptop closed. Right architecture for work that isn't a git repo. Neither is better as a default. Codex throws the experience away. Grok Bot keeps the computer and still doesn't give you a mind you can diff. The one I'd actually want: credentials isolated like Codex, experience portable like a memory OS. Not finished. The plainness is the design.

Matus Pavliscak@pavliscak · Aug 30shoppingVacuum, banking, and an Amazon purchase on its ownI connected @grok @bot to my banking and my card after @elonmusk said "Try it out. If Grok Bot messes up, we will make you whole." Spent the last couple of days using it a lot. Here is what I found. The idea is simple: every bot gets its own computer. So it can do most things a person with a laptop can do. What I used it for: - Set up my robot vacuum. I now control it by texting the bot - Set up my internet banking and payments - Linked a card. It completed an Amazon purchase on its own - Ran a few bots working together on tasks, instead of me prompting one step by step I was skeptical. Now I'm impressed. And nothing to claim so far. Good to know if you want to try it: 1. @cursor_ai Pro ($20/month) and SuperGrok ($30/month) both include Grok Bot now. 2. tyllen@0xTyllen · Aug 30opsPaid $3k Brex sponsorship through Grok Bot + PaymanI just paid a $3,000 sponsorship from my Brex account through Grok @bot! I got a text letting me know I needed to pay for our quarterly AI club sponsorship. Instead of opening the banking app and doing it myself, I connected my Brex account to Grok Bot through Payman and let it handle the payment. Grok, or GrokkyMoney as I call him, worked alongside the Payman Wallet, our intelligent AI wallet, to make it happen. The result felt magical. Today, most banking and crypto MCPs really only let agents read things like balances and transaction history. But as agents like Grok Bot and Instinct start doing more for us, actually handling payments is going to become commonplace. A lot of those payments will use money you already have sitting in your existing accounts. Giving an AI agent access to that money needs to be safe, reliable, and governed. We’ve deployed AI agents at federally regulated banks that handle money, and the same infrastructure powering those deployments powers the @PaymanAI Wallet. Brex is one of our first providers, with more coming over the next few weeks! If you want to safely give your AI agents access to your Brex account, DM me.

Steven Johns@stevenjohns · Aug 30opsTip: turn off Fast default to stretch Grok Bot usageYour @grok @bot is probably burning 2x usage for no reason. If you never set a default here: it runs Grok 4.6 High Fast. Fast is 2x the cost of regular High. Switch the default to Grok 4.6 Medium (Fast off) and you’ll likely get ~3x the agent runs out of the same cap. Check the model on follow-ups too. Fast likes to sneak back on. You can also prompt your bot to use specific models (in case one does value from using High/Fast).

AJ@OGMarsLife · Aug 30opsGrok Bot scanned Gmail and unsubscribed from promo listsGrok @bot update. One of the first things I asked it to do was clean up my primary Gmail, starting with unsubscribing from mailing lists. My prompt: “can you go through my inbox and find out what emails I can unsubscribe from, then unsubscribe me? How will you make sure to not unsubscribe me from some service that I don't want to?" I worded it that way on purpose so the bot would explain its rationale for what it considers safe to unsubscribe from. So it gave me its rationale first then unsubscribed on my go. Result, less junk is coming in. Mission accomplished 👍
Johnny Nel | AI for Founders@johnnynelai · Aug 30opsVideo proof: fleet bots share one computer, not isolated VMs🚨 Most people will spin up a Grok Bot team, give each bot a title, and assume each one got its own machine. The launch page does say "a computer of their own." I opened the computer view on both of mine, same VNC host, same path, 0.99606 match on the desktop crops. SpaceXAI's own docs go further than my screenshot did: all your bots share one persistent computer. What that actually means is shared: → Files → Browser sessions → App logins → Whatever the last bot left sitting there The line nobody's stating plainly: a bot's screen is not a security boundary. Their words, not mine. The boundary has to live in the job you hand it and the information you refuse to put in front of it. Full controlled build in the video 👇

Sarugo@AI発信はじめてみる@KKM279147382814 · Aug 30creativeGrokBot investigates a DIY RPG and returns a 404-line reportCursorサブスクでGrokBotっていうクラウドで 勝手に働き続けるAIが使えるようになったので、 試しに自作RPGの開発を任せてみた。

Jonathan Cai@jonathanmcai · Aug 31agentsTests Grok Bot for Polymarket research and tradingTesting out Grok Bot (@bot) for @Polymarket research/trading and wanted to share some initial thoughts. TL;DR it can be a bit sloppy so you need to check its work, but it's promising for market discovery and idea generation. --- A few days ago I simply asked it to search broadly for spots to enter into. Immediately it came up with NO on "Google Maps renames Lake Ontario to "Lake America" by Aug 31". The thesis was Trump signed the EO to rename the lake already, but Google hadn't updated their map yet, and that last time ("Gulf of America") it took Google three weeks to update. With just a few days left, grok thought it was an easy NO at 66%. Makes sense right? I immediately added a tiny position just to test it out. But after just a bit more prodding, it realized its own mistake: The thesis was entirely wrong, and actually the precedence suggests the exact opposite trade. The three weeks it quoted before was almost entirely internal/GNIS updating, and once GNIS did update it took Google a single day to follow. Thankfully I had sold once I realized grok's mistakes. Because lo and behold, Google Maps updated on Aug 29, and all markets resolved YES. Still, later I realized I missed out on a 3x return - I could've also flipped to YES ontop of selling. --- Nice little lesson to dig deeper into any thesis generated by AI, and that even if it turns out the first idea is slop, it might lead to a better idea after deeper research. Despite the mistake, the UX of @bot is great so far, and I'm excited to test out more sophisticated, multi-agent workflows (maybe there can be a way for a second agent to double check theses like this so mistakes are caught earlier). Becoming more and more clear to me that AI assistance with the full gambit of trading - research, discovery, sizing, and even execution is inevitable. AI lends itself particularly well to the information density and sheer number/breadth of prediction markets, probably more than any other asset class. But ultimately I think it will largely come down to how well the product/UX is executed. More experimentation to come...
